Welcome Carnival!
The last step in our planting project coincides with the Carnival celebration: maracas made from water bottles or paper rolls and seeds inside were decorated by the kids. This is part not only of our music workshop, but also of the environmental one as we reduce, reuse and recycle while we enjoy this activity!

The first step in this planting project was our surprise box, which contained a variety of seeds:

These are my buttons: one, two, three.
These are my eyes and this is my nose.
I wear a hat and a scarf. Brrr! It's cold!

The little orange house
Halloween is coming soon, so in our Plurinfantil sessions we are learning things about this special date. Last week, our friend Caterpillar brought a real pumpkin in his surprise box, then we all played the game "Put the eye on the pumpkin" and enjoyed Peppa Pig´s "Pumpkin party".
This week we sang the song "Five little pumpkins" and represented a Halloween story: "The little orange house". Have a look at the video if you want to check what it is about...

Banana caterpillar
September was fruit month in our project: we played games with fruits, sang fruit songs, read "The very hungry caterpillar", coloured and cut out fruits and, finally, prepared yummy banana caterpillars. Mmmmm! Absolutely delicious!
